Removing windshield mount

The gel pad is sticking to my windshield and not releasing. We need to use it in our other car. How have you successfully gotten it off without ruining the windshield?

  Hi Vanessa,

  Thank you for contacting us. The first few times it may be hard to remove from the spot you placed it in. I would suggest the following:

  1. Pull up the lever
  2. Pull the tab on the suction up to allow air to get into it then stick a plastic putty knife, floss, a credit card (at your own risk) underneath to break the seal
  3. Once the seal is broken you will be able to remove it easier.
