Do you need to cover the gel pad when moving it from one car to another?

  Hi Robert,

  Thank you for contacting us. You can move it from one car to another with no cover. If you feel your sticky is less try washing the suction cup with warm water (no soap) while massaging the cup to get all the dirt out and then letting it air dry? That brings the suction cup back to mint condition.
