    Hello,

We recommend a designated glass cleaner.

    Thank you!

It worked a couple of yers. I spent 35 minutes cleaning old gel from iottie2 . On another car there is a chinese one installed which works absolutely fine( the copy of iottie) . not happy anymore.

I had the same problem. But in my case, a new mount was attached to my windshield for less than one year and then fell off. Half of the sticky substance stayed on the suction cup, the other half on my windshield. Needless to say, the mount no longer works and had to be thrown away. Iottie recommends "a designated glass cleaner" to get the stuff off the windshield. I have no idea what that means, but none of the standard window cleaners (e.g., Windex) will work. I was finally able to remove the stuff with a metal putty knife and acetone. Acetone will dissolve the dashboard, so I had to be very careful. Plus I wore gloves since the stuff sticks to skin like crazy. One can only guess what toxic substances I may have produced and inhaled in the process of cleaning the stuff up.
