Adhesive Dashboard Pad - Permanent Solution?

What about using some type of 3M liquid adhesive used in the automotive industry? Or maybe using one of the LocTite products? Something more than just "Super Glue". This will definitely be a permanent application so you will definitely want to make sure you know where you are going to put it on the dash..
Has anyone done this already? What do the folks at iOttie think about doing this?

  We have not tested with any 3M adhesive, but recommend using our own iOttie products whenever possible!
