Replace sticky get part

My sticky gel part has worn out over the 3 years I have used the device with a lot of pleasure. With heat in the summer the part often came off.

Now I understand from other requests that the part cannot be replaced. In times where we need to care about the environment I think this is not a responsible product design. Actually I think it is replaceable when the sticky gel part would be available!

  I completely agree.  The gel part gets sticky over time and does not stay put.  It looks replaceable.  It ought to be replaceable.

  The sticky gel on my iottie became like goo and the mount came loose from the windshield. I'm trying to find out how to remove the goo from my windshield.

  I would use Goo Gone to remove the goo.

  I completely agree, the same thing happened to mine, will I have another? If so, I would look for another brand that does not present this disadvantage
