Can I buy suction cup as part? My one was damaged by the sun

    Thank you for your comments regarding the suction cups. We do not sell them separately, however we do replace them under warranty.

    It is absolutely ridiculous that you can't buy the suction cup part!  I have told lots of people not to buy this product for that reason alone.

    I have to agree with daredream77. The suction cup is an expendable part. If replacements aren't available, the whole product has to be considered expendable after two years. If you told your customers that up front, you wouldn't be able to charge as much for them. Sounds like there's some willful misrepresentation going on here.

    Thank you for your valuable feedback regarding our suction cups. 

    Although we do not currently sell our suction cups separately, we do provide 2 year warranty to ensure that our customers' are able to continue mounting, should there be an issue with the suction cup within this time frame. 

    We do strive to create a more user friendly experience with our mounts and want to ensure that our customers' are satisfied with our products and service. We are currently working on a plan to have the suction cups available for purchase and hope to provide some more information about this in the near future.

    YMMV with customer service: I ordered a suction cup via the customer service and they offered it to me, complimentary. I think it was because the original order contained a malfunctioning cup, but I had a good experience.

    I agree that customers should be able to purchase a replacement suction pad. Let's protect the environment and keep perfectly good mounts from going to landfills. Customers will continue to purchase from iOttie because it's a more robust product line, instead of choosing another company that sells replacement parts. It's a win-win for iOttie and for the consumer.

    I think I have bought my last iottie. I think I have bought 5 at this point. 4 for my family and 1 to replace the base on mine when on a trip and it failed. I can't believe I can't buy a replacement part for the only fail point. I'm so unhappy with iottie now I have to search for another product with more than a 2 year lifespan.
