Green light blinks - charging cycles on/off repeatedly

One touch wireless 2, with google pixel 4. The green light blinks on and off, and the phone recognizes the wireless charging, but the charging goes on and off with the green light. Why won't it stay solid green and remain charging?

  I also have the same issue with galaxy s10e. Charger started malfunctioning a week after I recieved this.
